Sony alpha 200 question

Hi my brother uses this camera, but on 2 or 3 occasions when downloading pics via usb from the camera, it only appears to transfer jpg images that are on the card, not touching the raw files. Have any of you alpha users experienced this? I'm wondering if it is a fault with the camera? This has happened on windows vista premium and 7 premium too. But when i access the camera while its connected through my computer the raw files are there, and end up having to drag and drop to copy to get them off the card.

you need a raw converter, the converter will recognise raw files and so they will automatically save try;

the odd thing is, that this doesnt always happen, sometimes it only downloads jpgs of the card and other times it downloads everything,

might be a memory card fault...i would suggest a process of ilimination to find the fault :shrug:
