sony battery grip question

hi all,i`m looking at getting a meike battery grip.

my question is would one made for an @550 also fit an @580 ???

I've got 1 & it has 2 niggles.
very slight movement between A580 & grip
batteries left in the grip discharge quickly - the oem Sony grip doesn't do that.

On the other hand it only cost me ~£25
