Sony camera setup advice

I think I'm nearly there with the photographic kit I want.

The list includes:

Sony a450 DSLR
50mm f1.8 lens
18-250mm lens
150-500mm lens
8mm fisheye lens

As you can see, I have no flash. I did have the basic Sony one, but it was no better than the pop-up flash.

So, my dilemma.....

My 18-250 lens is my walkaround lens, but it's only f3.5-6.3.

So, do I get a flash to add to my collection?
Or do I get a better spec walkaround lens?

I know there is a big price difference, but it's the bigger picture that matters.

For a replacement lens, there is nothing that covers that focal length. So the options are:

Sigma 17-50 f2.8
Sigma 24-70 f2.8
Sigma 70-200 f2.8

Sony 28-75 f2.8
Sony 24-70 f2.8

Advice please?
 
i have the jessops 360 afd flash unit. i had some vouchers to use in jessops so it made sense to me to me.

as for the walk-around lens, i would look at the tamron 17-50 f2.8. you look to be sorted at the long end so a fast standard zoom would be of more use perhaps. i wouldn't mind one for myself if i'm honest
 
Tamron/Sigma lens doesn't seem too bad a shout.
Guess the only downside is the gap between 50-150mm. But I guess I'll just have to take a step forward/backwards to get it in frame. :-)
 
what about a cheapish minolta 70-210mm f4 to fill the gap? they are getting on a bit but will last forever by the looks of things and give decent performance for not a lot of cash. it would however mean an extra lens in your bag, but how often do you need the 500mm length on a day to day basis? for a walkaround combo the 17-50 and 70-210 would cover most basis, with the 150-500 being more for wildlife etc.

Budget?

The Sony ZA 24-70/2.8 is an absolutely splendid lens (much as I like my Minolta 28-70/2.8 G, I'd love the Zeiss ... one day, one day) but comes with a price tag to match way in excess of your 18-250. It's also big and heavy.

I owned the Sigma 24-70/2.8 and wasn't all that impressed.

I'm not sure a 70-200/2.8 will ever be called a walkabout lens. Splendid things, especially for sports, but again substantial items.

I mostly used the Sony 35/1.4 and ZA 16-80 for walkabout stuff on APS-C, kept a beercan in the bag for when I wanted more reach.
