Sony N E X or Nex?

I've always pronounced each letter like i would with any model, so i would say N-E-X-5. However i watched a photokina video and the presenter called it nex. I've i been pronouncing it wrong all this time?

I've always spelt it out I guess because it sounds more unique that way, if you say it as Nex with the number it doesn't sound very different from Nexus which there's a few of already including the Nexus 7 (Android tablet), Nexus-8 (Shimano internal gearhub) and the Nexus 6 (advanced synthetic humanoid)

Its spelt in caps, so it's proabably pronounced by each letter, but I just say nex, as it's easier.

It stands for New E-mount eXperience so I guess it should be N-E-X but I call them nex but I'm lazy

I call mine a nex too, I don't see any dots or dashes separating each letter
