Sony Super SteadyShot DSC-H5 battery life?

So, my dad gave me a DSC-H5 as a present. The thing is that I couldn't film anything longer than 3 minutes - the battery keep running out. What should I do to fix this?

got the model name correct as that's a 4 year old model?
not a DSC-H55 or DSC-HX5V as these would be current?
