My dad has just bought a 550d, and he's not happy with the images he's getting out of the camera.
They do seem very lacking in contrast, and not very sharp.
I know they can be adjusted pp, but he'd rather get them much closer to something like from the word go
I've had a look , and notice he'd used spot metering on some where he'd be better with evaluation, but even on the one he's took in landscape mode still aren't right. And also he's left the WB on auto, which again I know is not great, but i've took quick snaps on mine that are coming out 100% better than the best he's getting.
They all look a little over exposed, but that shouldn't be happening should it, especially in landscape mode.
He's comparing it again his old Panasonic prosumer, that he says were pin-sharp and the colour was spot on every time, and thinking about heading back for a refund.
Can anybody have a look, and tell me if there is a setting to adjust on camera which will solve this problem.
Thanks
Russ
