I know its not as impressive as the kit most of you guys own, but my 30D arrived today (Thanks Matt! ) and I am so pleased to be back in the fold again.

I cant wait to get back out there and start taking photos again

Now I just need to find some brass for a tripod and head and some ND filters :bang:

Nothing unimpressive about the 30D, of the Canon's I've owned, definitely my favourite! Its great AF and drive mode are excellent. My only real gripe was the poor LCD.

Dave I did look at Nikon but nothing was around at the money I wanted to spend - at least, not if I wanted a lens as well as a body

It was a shame as most of my friends use Nikon and I could have maybe blagged lenses from them if I needed anything a kit lens couldnt do

ah well, at least I have a camera again - thats the main thing
