Ok so I am still a newbie and for the past 2 days any spare opportunity I have tried searching.
Kit I have:
Canon eos 400
Kit lens,
Sigma 70-300
A few Hoya filters
4 compact flash cards
2 batteries
Occasionally point and shoot camera
At some point this year the body may get upgraded.
I also have a manfrotto 190xdb tripod which will only be taken with me occasionally.
I will also use the bag to carry laptop (occasionally) sarnies, wallet, phone, house and car keys etc.
I have been looking at the vanguard up rise range, the 28 and the 33.
I have also looked at the vanguard herald range, as it can carry a tripod in a handy tripod sling.
I like the quick access top zip on the vanguards.
I have been in jessops and looked, at the lowepro range, not keen on the backpacks, unless somebody can convince me, also don't think I can get a laptop in as well. I have also been into LCE and seen some of the bags they have.
I think I'm really after a messenger style bag as I can pack a camera and lens and also my work stuff when I fancy a lunch time taking some shots around London.
Bag will also be used to store kit in at home. It will be used to take camera on holiday, probably not the tripod.
Biggest problem I am having is finding a bag that's relatively small but holds the 70-300.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
