A nice idea with good potential. I think I'd go back with tripod at the ready and try (if poss) to take the shot further along to the right, to get a better angle on the walkway - it's a bit too busy with all that's going on in the background (imho) and a different angle might help :shrug:

Or walk over to the left and just concentrate on the buildings on the far side. I think you got the makings of 2 or 3 different shots all in one pic at the moment - if that makes sense?
