I like the mood in this image, what do you guys and gals think?

Like the composition but I think the foreground and background are a bit too much 'at one' with each other. Had to look for a good few seconds before I could really see what was what.

Unfortunatly I only had my digi compact so i had no control over the depth of field. A well made point though, a shallower dapth would have improved the impact of the subject.
