Hi guys and girls- now then- south Yorkshire? What are your views in best photo locations?

Views ON south yorkshires best photo locations should I say.

Any suggestions? Landscape photography is my preferred type of shot

I lived in Sheffield for over 40 years, I don't any longer but my advice is to nip over the border into Derbyshire and photograph the Peak District. Photographic opportunities abound here !

Think some trips to the Peak District will be entering the diary!!! Just found out yesterday I have a Carl Zeiss Jena Lens - Wide angle for my Praktica film camera! (a gift from family member). I'll be giving this a whirl!

just been upto Mam Tor at tother side of sheffield..really nice landscape shots there...

I'd second the Peak District suggestion. Lived just over the border for all my life and only just found out how nice it is.

Peak District is great location A lot of stuff to photograph. Curbar Edge is easiest to get to...

Don't forget the many "city-scapes" available to you from the many hills surrounding Sheffield.
