Southern double-collared sunbird

I chased this bird for a good few days trying to get a good shot of it, without blowing the reflective plumage - what a nightmare in the bright South African sun!

Does portrait orientation work with bird photographs?

Great shots of a beautiful bird. I think portrait shots can work well but in this case I prefer the landscape one as it include the flower which really sets the tropical scene
