First successful attack I have witnessed. Not fantastic photos I suppose due to poor lighting, but the best I have got so far. At least this poor little House Sparrow didn't suffer.

I just love their eyes. Any C&C is welcomed, especially regarding DOF, should it be narrower or not?

Grass isn't quite as green as in someone else's Sprawk photos ;)
 
You were lucky to get these. Most of the birds of pray are so wary and shy
 
I dont think I have seen one this year in my garden, they are great too see. Excellent shots.
 
nice shots not seen the hawk in my garden for about 1 half years so i think i died or its found a new nest. but very beautiful bird
 
well caught haven t seen mine for a while,thats probably a good thing though how many birds he kept having they are a stunning bird though
