I'm on the hunt for another bag as my camera and lens combo is stopping me taking any extra lenses with me in my Lowepro Versapack.
My basic requirements are to hold my D300 with grip and my 80-200 2.8 with the hood on plus at least 1 extra lens and a flash, a side opening to I can grab my camera out at a seconds notice and a top compartment where I can put whatever gear I need at the time (waterproofs, packed lunch and plenty of water usually for my mountain trips). Bonus points if I can flatten the top compartment when it's empty to allow easy storage in my main backpacking rucksack. Somewhere to attach my tripod (preferably on the bottom so it's close to me for a more stable run down the mountain) and chest and waist straps.
I also don't want to spend an exceptional amount of money on the bag because of the conditions of use it might have to get replaced regularly
Right now I'm tempted towards the Tamrac Aero 75 or 85 but I can't tell which, if either, will allow the lens hood to stay the correct way around on, and it's hard to know how flexible the top part is in order to 'fold away'. If anyone has any experience of either of those bags or any other bag that fits my requirements I'd be amazingly happy to hear your opinions.
