Hi. i am looking to upgrade my lowepro backpack 350.

i am quite ok with the backpack except for one flaw. i cant house a tripod of any size on it.

i have seen some backpacks that allow you to attack a tripod to the side of bottom of the backpack and i am looking for one that does this.

it needs to be water proof. comfy, able to quick access my 5d3 attacked with a 70-200 f2.8 and some room for a 15inch laptop and a few bits and bobs like medicines, drinks and snacks.

Budget is around £200 .

Thanks

Lowepro Vertex 200 or 300, depending on how much gear you want to carry. Both are well within your budget, comfortable, spacious and very well built!

For someone with over 1000 posts to their name, you'd have thought the search function would be something they're au fait with!
Take a look at my post history - you'll find a few posts I've made with many, many links to various brands/models, so most of the legwork's been done for you already.
With those and the other posts made in the same threads, you should be able to figure out which one looks to be the most suitable for you needs.

Ok cool

I could never be that polite ;)

Ah, the implied threat of a verbal volley from a more established member. Lovely!

Remind me which of the two of us helped jonney with his backpack quandary?

@jonney - should've had this at the end of the first sentence - :p
But it's a bit moot now.
Still, hopefully those threads, and some others in recent weeks, will help you get something that fits the bill.

Oh, and if it's not already in any of them, have a look at one of these for size and price - https://www.naneubags.com/products-by-series/adventure/k4l

hehe anyways i did some research and found this http://fstopgear.com/product/mounta...fstopgear.com/loka_6?ext=F&maxicus=3&addcart=

do they deliver to UK?

cannot find anything better then that one!

I imagine they do, as they've a warehouse in Rotterdam, Holland.
I seen that one mentioned on a thread here, and I think a London company do them, but there was something about not much in stock at the time.

There you go - http://www.paramo.co.uk/en-gb/competitions/promo/FStop.php - give them a call and see what the score is.
Drop fstop an email and see if they sell direct with drop shipping from the EU warehouse.

sorry to hijack.

just been given the go ahead to choose a back pack for christmas.

havent got a lot of stuff, d5100, 35mm, 17-50 and 18-200 sb600 flash.

lokking for a bag to carry this with a little extra room for 1-2 other lenses as i get them.

was looking at the lowepro sling range, 102/202aw

has anyone got any feedback on them please, really just need the lightweight, easy access type of bag.

Also consider the Flipside 300. The security features on it should be on every single bag IMO.

Very highly recommended from me.

Thank you, i did look at the flipside in jessops, nice pack,

i decided on the lowepro slingshot 202aw really nice looking pack and big enough for me.

cant try it yet as its a chritmas pressie :(
