Speck of dust on mirror

Have noticed a speck of dust when I look through the few finder, I thought it might be the lens so gave it a clean and put it back on before checking again...still there so tried another lens and it's still there so I checked the mirror and it looks like it needs a clean !!!

What's the best way too do it, a little nervous as you can imagine, don't wanna cock it up, it's a canon 1D

Any advice ?

Scrap that, my dust blower got it after sometime

Will leave the thread to run a little longer but unless we get a few more, might cancel

Most of the time it's either a rocket blower or microfibre cloth used very carefully to wipe the mirror. Same with dust on the sensor with a rocket blower or a sensor wand or similar, but never the cloth.
