guys pls post here all your Canon rumours
PS: particularly I would like to read about a replacement of the Canon Powershot waterproof D10 as I own a DSLR already;)
Can Canon beat the new Nikon Coolpix Waterproof AW100 ? ;)
 
I don't really care. Just wait and see, speculating isn't going to change anything.

I'd speculate that Canon are going to announce something at sometime in the future. I don't know what it is that will be announced or when it, whatever it is, will be announced but I can say with confidence that the announcement will be about something.

What is the point of threads like this? :bang:
 
I'd guess next weeks anouncement will be the new G-series PowerShot and Novembers Hollywood announcement will be a full frame 4k video DSLR.

Jeez, lighten up. It's a bit of fun.

I'm interested in what the 5d Mkiii will bring to the table. If they can offer up an AF system on par with the D700 crossed with the performance of the current 21MP or say a 24MP sensor that will be one impressive camera.
 
I can absolutly say for certain that in October they will release an update to the Canon X Mark I with a new slim version

the reason I started this thread :

In less then 3 weeks time Im going on holidays and I want to buy a waterproof camera so I can take pics underwater. I really like the new nikon coolpix AW100, but looking at the rather old Canon D10 and comparing the aperture... Old canon is a fast F2.8, new nikon F3.9 :(
When it comes to movies though, nikon is capable of full HD, canon only 640x480 30fps :(

So I was hoping to hear something about the D10 replacement ;)
 
They're announcing something important in front of the whole world and their family will all be there. I reckon they're coming out.
