Ive recently bought some wireless triggers, but the problem I have now is that, when I used to mount the flash on light stand, it has a wheel I can use to tighten and secure it on the hot shoe mount no probs, however when mount the flash light attaches to the trigger the wheel tightens up on to the trigger and not the mount on the stand, The triggers have no locking features, it would slide straight through, surely there a better solution that gaffer tape.

On some flash brackets, certainly the ones that I have, the cold shoe adapter can be unscrewed from the bracket leaving a threaded stud, that the RF602's (and probably the 603's) can be screwed on to. If you still need a cold shoe, and your bracket is threaded, you can buy replacement cold shoes with a clamping screw. E-bay is a good source for these; I use Cotlswold Photo.
