Speedlight Flash Diffusers

I've been looking at the flash diffusers for a 430 EX II,

Do any of you have experience with these? Should I be looking at the Sto Fen version at about 15 quid or one of the 3 quid ebay versions?

Additionally I have seen cheapo soft boxes for the same flash, worth a punt or another gadget to sit in a box never to be used in anger?

I bought a £3 eBay one, and it looks identical to a much more expensive Sto Fen version. I'd look at the little soft boxes too, very useful in the right application I believe.

did you have issues with it fitting correctly?

I suppose for a few quid a little soft box cant be that much of a loss.

Walls and ceilings are pretty good - and free!

Your right, they are very good but I may find carrying a plastic diffuser with me a little easier than a couple of walls or a ceiling.
