I know this has been asked before but i dont know what lens to get. I already have a kit lens and an tamron 70-300 manual focus (ebay special). Got in the regeion on £400-£500 to spend. I enjoy all forms of photography from macro, portrate, landscape & wildlife. Any advise would be great.

Well a nice macro lens will also double up as a good portrait lens so killing two birds so to speak. I'm not familiar with Nikon lenses but the Sigma 105mm or Tamron 90mm are both great.

I can confirm that the Tamron 90mm Macro is a great lens but make sure the copy you get is suitable for your body - not all are. Older versions are of the body driven type.
