These shots are lovely and bright and sharp. The last one is my favorite Ed.

With the first one I would suggest the composition be improved to make everything a little more and interesting and appealing. Sticking the trunk in center frame with lots of empty and uninviting foreground isn't exciting for me personally.

I'm not saying this example is good or bad, it just puts everything in the frame in a more attractive manner and leads your eye along a path.

I would say the same might even apply to the 2nd picture, the foreground doesn't add anything to the picture and kind of gets in the way a bit.
