Not the greatest of close ups but had to be quick to capture it so couldnt set up properly....here are the images though....just cropped out of the big version

the lighting on your last shot is good
the others need some illumination to show detail and model the textures
if they are taken in the same light then the first lot may be underexposed..

First lot were taken without the Macro ring flash, so just with the normal on-camera flash so lighting not god at all...last one was with the macro ring so lighting improved........
