Here is a reprocessed version of one of the Spitfire restoration team at Lytham on the Battle of Britain weekend recently, hopefully I have sorted the halo issue, and have tried a mono version, as suggested.

nice shot, only minor point I can find is that it needs a little more space on the left side

Thanks Richard, more space on the left probably would improve it. I am pleased with the mono version, suits the subject, I think.

I like the shot, as mentioned, a tad more space on the left, get that hint of roundel in better? My first thought on seeing the image. . . 'they were only kids'? . . . :shrug:

Quite possibly, Dav, a real nice guy with a fantastic knowledge of the Spitfire. Seems a group of them are raising funds to restore the plane.
