Nice stuff Bernie, 2 and 5 for me... Shame it's a T.9 in 2, such an ugly thing! Like the cloud movement in 5, would help to pull the shadows a tad though. I guess that is the French spit a few years ago when it still had that shackleton engine and prop? Woulda loved to have seen that

Time for some variety I think....
So the Americans have arrived. They need big beefy aircraft to carry round all those silk stockings and chewing gum
So something more beefy than bisto, the Bearcat. Not sure if there should be a bloke on the wing with a helmet , or not????? (Harry!)

I agree, the Americans clearly took the example of the bumble bea, whereas R J Mitchell clearly looked at the Shrew...........
Anyway, some more inferior American efforts. These were originally awful, so they shoved a well known brand of British designed piston engine in them to save embarrassment in a drag race with a snail.
