Got the collision kit out for a play tonight. A bit rusty but liked this one

Some info:

Canon 50D; 100mm f2.8 macro; 550ex in manual 1/32 and CameraAxe trigger kit.
1sec, f18, iso200, shot in a darkened room. Flash gelled with a red carrier bag and positioned behind the drop with an A3 sheet of velum paper between the flash and drop to diffuse.

One of the best tutorials I have found on the web is here on TP and gives great results without the trigger kit, just some hand-eye coordination. Thanks Ash!

I haven't seen any of these from you in a while Rhod - and these are just as good as I remember.
The one with the disc intact just edges it for me. I think the ripples and reflection have come out a bit better.

Yes second one for me too. Ripples ae more defined.
