Split Image Focusing Screen

I am considering in getting this for my Canon 450D to use with both my MF and AF lenses:

How easy is it to fit a Split Image Focusing Screen for someone who was limited experience in pulling things apart?

If I do install it and don't like it, is it easy to remove?

Some quite comprehensive instructions here with pictures. Not sure how easy it is though. Thinking about doing it for my 5D

On the 50D, 40D, 5D and my 1ds it was about a 30 second job!

Those instructions do make it seem like it might be a bit more complex on the 450d

Thanks for the info. Looking at the 40D method it does look a lot easier on there. Has anyone completed it on a 450D (or similar) body?

If not I might have to use it as an excuse to upgrade, there are some great deals on the 60D at the moment....

Sorry for the thread hijack, I am seriously considering one for my 5D to go with MF Olympus lenses. What is the best brand to get? I'm considering it because my AF confirm adapters are liars basically ;-)
