Split prism screen for Canon 5D

Well, I would have expected 'Katzeye' to do one, but it's not on their list of Canon screens :shrug: ...

You could email them and ask if they could make you one, I suppose :|.

Other than that, the cheap option is to just get one from China via ebay - there are stacks of them listed, for about 15-25 quid :thumbs:. The Katzeye screens are precision made and fit right in (I have one in my Nikon D700 ;)), whereas most of the Chinese ones are just cut down from old SLR screens (from various other camera brands) and can often not fit properly or require a lot of adjustment (so my research lead me to believe :thinking:).

On the downside, the Katzeye screen is likely to cost you about £140, after you've paid for delivery and import duty :shake:.

There is a gin - you - wine Canon one isn't there?

I started looking into this a wee while ago and thought I'd found a Canon one.
 
Ah ok, no they do the Ee-S which is meant to be better for manual focusing but it's not a split prism. My mistake.
