Same workflow as tobers. Everything in LR. Occasionally edit the odd one in PS if there is any local adjustment to do, although you could do it in LR. Import via card/USB/wireless depending on the situation. Export/upload with filezilla unless it's just a few images or I'm on a cable network in which case the LR FTP plugin works ok.

I think im going to stick to aperture for cropping and editing and use Elements for any level adjustments. good shout on the Ac adaptor. I'm considering a backup battery for the mac that lasts 12hrs , but its a bit pricey. might be worth it for peace of mind though, and shoot the full match tethered 
I use Transmit for FTP and will probably use my web based email for sending images as Mac Mail seems to slow things down too much
