Spots in the screen.

I had the sensor cleaned at the weekend and the all the associated gubbins, when I picked up the camera I didn't check all was ok as I was parked outside on double yellows, using it today I find there are large spots in the viewfinder, upon inspection they seem to be between the focusing screen and inside of the eye piece. Any suggestions on how to remove these?, should they have removed when the rest of the cleaning was done? I'd go back but it's a bit of a trail and can't get until next weekend.

If your camera was in for a sensor clean then I expect that is all that would be cleaned unless the job was aprt of an overall package.

If the spots were not on the focussing screen prior to the sensor clean then you have firm grounds for complaint.

Never park on double yellow, when you need to check things :D,sound to me as those they have, while cleaning the sensor, they have shifted the muck from your sensor,up into the viewfinder area,i would say take it back and get them to clean it :)

It's probably on the underside of the focusing screen, above the mirror. If so, a rocket blower will get it off. Be careful in there though, both the mirror and especially the surface of the focusing screen are delicate and easily marked.

A few specs of dust around there is inevitable; annoying, but does no harm. A rocket blower (Giottos, only a few quid from Amazon) is always handy - it's all I ever need to clean the sensor too :)
