nice pics, the 2nd one has something in it drawing my eye away from the bird, look in the top right hand corner, (obviously a photographic/optical illusion, quite interesting looking though!) What do you think,

Thanks Ian, these were about 30 - 40 yards so they were biggish crops.

Thanks Michael. I took the first as I was standing up just to get a shot of it as a record. The second I managed to get a bit closer and also from a lower viewpoint. As for the top right hand corner in the second, I think it is what is jut above the bird's head in the first taken from a slightly different angle if that is what you are referring to.
