But heck, good to see its spots again???

Aah, your photo is through a scope I assume.......Rotated about 90 degrees.

Good clarity, the double spot comes out as one on mine. Are they likely to nave split up??

Sigma 150-600mm at 600mm. Yes, the rotation does look a bit odd, but it is taken with the camera in landscape orientation. It might be that it was taken fairly early morning. The same spots are still there (with another just creeping onto the side of the disc) so I'll see if I can grab them again later today and see where they show. Resolving close together spots comes down to the clarity of the image I think. I managed to avoid the cloud that was around but I still took half a dozen or more to get one shot I was happy with.
