Found these pictures of "Chippy", it was spring this year and he was having a preen on his branch amongst the blossom.

Thanks IanC and Ewan for comments, and yes Ewan i have loads of images of the robins, i studied them in the garden for the past 3 years, but id probably bore you with robin images if i started!! so be warned!:bonk:
