SPUDZ, Awesome Gadget

Packaging looks good... quite distinctive - how's it at removing greasy fingermarks? (Oh and chips around here are only £1.50 :) )

These are soooo good at removing any smear's, finger prints ect ect, go on get one now , u wont regret it

I have one on my strap. I've not used it alot but it works fine and it was cheaper than a pint of Tribute.
(if only I could stick to just one pint of Tribute )

Thanks for the recommendation - I was about to replace my cleaning cloth - this looks like it'll be the one...

Agreed, nice little bit of kit. The nice bod at my local camera shop chucked me a little one in for nowt when I bought my last lens......

It's free P&P on Ebay and cheaper too i.e. 10 X 10 18% grey £7.35 on Ebay inc P&P or £7.99 + £2.99 on their web site ....

Thanks m8, i've got amazon prime too so it'll get to me next day!! :D

No problem! Glad to be of help. Ordered mine earlier today

Ive had one of these for a while. It is an excellent cloth with a sort of suede feel to it. Beware of the wee clip on it though, I had it on my strap and it fell off within 2 mins!
Was very lucky to find it lying on the ground later on.

perhaps a silly question - but when this cloth gets 'saturated'/dirty, will it still work well after it's washed/laundered? i.e. is there some chemical treatment on the microfibre which makes it work particularly well, or is it just a plain microfibre cloth?

thanks in advance :)

From Amazon

"Just hand wash with mild detergent and hang with cloth extended to let air dry"

It's a micro fibre cleaning cloth. Just like every other micro fibre lens cleaning cloth

I actually find the silly little bag thing rather awkward and I now keep mine in a little plastic bag as I don't want grit on it when I wipe the lens.

Reason I bought the Spudz is because it's the 18% grey version (8th one down on the OP's link) which makes it more useful than the regular ones you can buy anywhere for a fraction of the price.

I have a large microfibre cloth, asda about £2.99 and two small 6" cloths that came with dell monitors (free).
