I've (well the wife) has just bought me my new monitor and Im looking for a calibration thingy for it. I have a Pantone Huey at the moment, thats quite old and I dont really know how good it is. I keep hearing about the Spyder, so I may give it a go. Ive noticed you can get 3 types, Express, Pro and Elite. The express looks too basic, so is it worth the extra going for the Elite over the pro. As I understand, the only difference is the software.

I'd like to use it for my laptop and my iMac aswell, and the way the sales blurb has worded it, it seems only the Elite can be used on more than 1 screen. Is that right? How does that work, surely you can just unplug it and use it on any monitor, or is the software linked to a particular computer?

Any thoughts welcomed, Wex have them at reasonable prices so may get it there.

I have the Spyder 3 Pro and use it on my imac and the wifes Windows PC. It works well, I have not tried it on a laptop.
