[AJQS]

Steel, Steam & Stars IV - a fourth instalment of a a special event to raise funds for the 6880 Betton Grange project on the Llangollen Railway. Sadly I couldn't do a full weekend this time, and the weather sucked big time, but it was still a great day out (Thank god for Velvia mode!).

Great set of photos. Wasn't able to make the event but am hoping to get to the railway this summer.

Yes, they're very good. I do keep meaning to get down there early enough to go somewhere other than Llangollen itself. I'm hoping to do the Classic Transport Weekend so might get more chance to explore.

I went down to my favourite spot and it was heaving, so took the opportunity to ride the trains instead and have a wander about. Had to ditch the tripod in the car though, no room to be carrying that on the trains!
