St Mary's - First attempt with a filter

No movement in the sky and the tide was right out so not a great deal in the water but I wanted to have a practice with a 10 stop. Will try and get out again soon.

The practicing has worked out well here Andrew, very nice shot composition is good with the foreground rock almost pointing toward the lighthouse. Black and white shot works best for me.

Personally, I think the 2nd is slightly better composed than the 1st, where the lighthouse is a little too close to the edge of the frame for my liking.

It's a bit flat and really lacking contrast. Wait for a day with fast cloud movement and a bit of stronger light?
