Canon 200mm f2.0 1.4x 2x Stacked TC Teleconvertors 12mm extension tube

The first thing I notice is that AF jumps around, it cannot be used.... I'm wondering what kind of pseudo-macro action I can get up to this lunch time :)

Looks Mental ! You might get the armed police knocking your door for that rocket launcher lol, what sort of distance on far away objects are you able to get? Not sure if its anygood for macro stuff, not without putting something like a closeup filter or extension tube to magnify closer objects, but Im not sure what lens you have on there? Doesn't look lika a 70-200L or 24-105L ? is that the macro L lens?

Not sharp enough to replace macro, but those butterfly photos were taken from about 2 metres away - so that's one benefit.

Close up filters are too small for this lens right? it's a 200mm f2

;)

EDIT: too late... :P

get a step down ring for a couple of quid? Pop a raynox on the end?

128mm diameter lens i believe, not sure if the inner 'thread' is a thread - as it does not normally take filters - you add them in a slot at the other end of the lens. Not sure you can fit a raynox

If you get a 2xMkII TC then you can stack it onto your 1.4xMkIII and keep infinity focus by eliminating the extension tube......560mm at f/5.6
