Just noticed Gary buying a NikonTC 14 in order to try stacking itch his existing TC 14....

I have the TC 17 and TC 14 so was wondering if anyone has experience of stacking these tc's....

They won`t stack.

Mmm...i have the Kenko Pro DGX 1.4 as well as the Nikon so will give that a go.

How does the magnification work out i wonder?

1.4 + 1.7 = 3.1

or

1.4 x 1.7 = 2.38

Wont get the opportunity until i'm back in the UK mid June but will post then...

Also picking up a 300 f2.8 VR so will be play time for a while ...:thumbs:
 
The Kenko 1.4x and the Nikon 1.4x stack fine, with 2 x Nikon 1.4x converters there is a little adaptor ring you can buy from eBay USA which allows them to stack, apparently works fine but doesnt report correct aperture.
