Stamdard or wide angle adapter?

What type of adapter ring do I need for fitting a 100mm square filter kit to a Nikon 16-85mm lens on a crop sensor?

Do I need a regular or wide angle?

Just picked up a Hitech Corby Brown signature kit off Amazon for £85 New!

Have a think about whether you might need a wide angle one in futur before deciding. I use thefilterdude and have been happy with rings they provide

Currently have only the 16-85mm, got some cheap Kood P size filters which vignettes below 19mm. I am guessing with 100mm on the same lens this should now be avoided.

If I get a wider lens, like the sigma 10-20mm I'll probably get the wide angle adapter

I ended up having to return the filter kit it turned up and the polarizer was damaged with the coating peeling off.

Currently looking at getting some second hand Lee filters.
