Stand for macro shots

What do you guys use to hold things for macro shots? Things like flower buds etc when shooting stuff indoors?

Just found this that looks like it could be quite handy to use in a light tent.

Attached to what?

You can bend it to form a standing shape or stick it into a piece of styrofoam for example. Cheap or free and easy to pp out of light box shots.
