Tamron 17-50mm f2.8, Sigma 18-50mm f2.8, Canon 17-55mm f2.8. Or, if you prefer primes, Sigma 30mm f1.4.

Suppose it depends on budget and needs from the lens - do you want IS, constant F stop, fast lens etc.
You've then the Tamron 17-50 lens and others. What is your focal length needs - do you want a wider lens (17-55) or a longer lens (24-105).
