A few shots from Stansted yesterday afternoon. Mostly taken with a D2x and Nikon 85mm f1.8. All comments are welcome.

Not normally a fan of airport shots but like that.

Looking for a 85mm at the moment, the more I see other people's images with them the more I want one

Thanks Andrew. This photo was one of the few which was taken with a Tokina 28-70 at 70mm (hence the fringing on the highlights). I was trying this lens out having just bought it secondhand. I made the mistake of trying it against my Nikon 85 f1.8 (the prime shots are much better of course!). I intended taking all of the shots with the 28-70 and ended up sticking mainly to the 85mm prime. This particular shot was very heavily cropped to fill the frame with the tailfins. I would have probably needed a 300mm lens to fill the frame from where I was parked.
