The other day I made a "Bird Cake" after all the snow had frozen just about everything on the feeders. Today I put out the rest of the cake and it didn't take very long for the Starlings to start getting a bit rowdy.

Actually Ken, there was one buzzing around yesterday, first time I've seen one round this way and we've lived here for 14 years. All the starlings (and my local Robin) kept diving into the trees, so I wondered outside and there he was, bold as brass sitting on a telegraph pole :LOL:

Seeing as it's the festive season I think he was enjoying a game of hide & seen with the other birds. He got bored waiting and flew off, probably looking for a easier meal.
