Starling

Thats a cracker, its only when you see them close up you appreciate their markings............(y)
 
You should love them, I don't get them in my garden but had 1 this morning, there colours are amazing!! They are greedy guts though!!

I dont seem to have as many visiting this year as last but they are still great to see but yes they are very greedy.

Good shot Karl, very detailed and sharp. I'd never really noticed how colourful they were until a few weeks ago when we had some in the garden. I managed to get some nice shots, one of which is now my avatar, and realised how beautiful they were.
 
We used to get hundreds in Lincolnshire but sadly they seem to be on the decline.

Great shot really shows the detail.

well i love them they have the most magnificent plumage when the light hits them, this is a stunning image! :)
