Just a quick thanks to Dave for organising today's meet. It was a fantastic day, (Both weather and company) and it really was a pleasure to meet everybody. Just sorry I had to leave early :(
Once I have a couple of shots ready I'll post them up

Anyway, thanks Dave, here's to the next one

Looking forward to the images, I was hoping to go but as you know the best laid plans of mice and men......

Tell me about it. I'm gutted I had to go early! Good turn out though

Hats off to you guys for being brave enough to venture into the abyss of saaaaaaaaafend with cameras on display ;) :D

Shame I couldn't make it, I really should get around to doing a TP meet at some point! They always seem to be up north when I'm south, or south when I'm up north!

Chris

Abyss?? Apart from the footie fans it was a delight! The sun was shining and even security in the fun fair were happy to have us there once we had registered at the desk. Taking pics of policemen, kids on the beach and an eclectic mix of architecture, combined with regular 'refreshment' breaks and all topped off with a craching sunset. Ta very much indeed for organising Dave

Are you sure you were in Southend.

Talking of sunsets, I promise I won't talk about Toothie and I walking off into it!! :naughty:

Hi . To thank you guys and Gals for a great day out . My first meet and entirely at ease . Most of my shots came up feeling rather blue ?. No colour at all . As if a blue cokin lens was in front . Was it my setting the camera or do i have a brand new problem camera . Think i know the answer to the latter . Also , watching , i learned to be more adventurous in my outlook. Great bunch . Thankyou all again . Take care . Ron

Thanks Dave

Cracking day out, really terrific bunch of guys and girls, and a great variety of togging.

Am now glowing like a beacon

Just spotted this thread. A big thanks to Dave for organising yesterday and to everyone for their great company through the day. Great to see some familiar and new faces.

Ron, it sounds to me like a white balance issue. If it is all blue, it may be that the white balance was on Tungsten. Did you shoot in raw or jpeg?
