i was just wondering whether anyone could give me tips on capturing the stars at night, had a few stabbs but not with much success.....any help would be great.... cheers

there's a startrails thread running within a few of this one if that's the look you're going for. If you're thinking more in astronomy terms aiui you'll soon be wanting longer, faster lenses and motorised tracking tripod heads... or something
