It's all good :)
For example I went to a deserted bay East of Sanna and on the approach flushed a Sea Eagle I hadn't spotted out of tree only about 30ft away.

The standard stuff is mightily impressive - Ardnamurchan Lighthouse and Sanna.
If you do nothing else, do these you will go away happy.
But you get the best by exploring.

Dunno where you are staying - but if near Kilchoan, then a cracking day out is the tiny ferry to Tobermory - pub lunch, bit of shopping (Ardnamurchan has only basics) and back - the harbor is wonderfully photogenic.

I am staying in a house in Kilchoan. Me the other half and the three dogs.

Thanks for the info.:)

You're not too far from where our holiday cotatge is on Loch Sunart.

The world is your Oyster really.

Thanks for the replies.

As suggested the lighthouse and sanna bay are worth seeing, Tobermory will make a nice day trip too. The moon is not far from new at the moment as well so a good opportunity to get some star photos from the dark skies if the clouds clear.

It sounds like you'll be staying very close to where one of my friends lives.

If you are having a day on Mull, get yourself over to Ulva Ferry and Mull Charters . Brilliant opportunities to photograph the sea eagles, and, as a bonus, they are dog friendly, too.

Thanks for that info. :)

Alarm set for 4AM tomorrow morning, for what will hopefully be a good run up to Kilchoan, with a shop in Fort William for provisions.

If going off-road there, look out for ticks, and not just on the dogs!

Thanks fo that. Just arrived Fort William and shopping in Morrisons.
