Great shots...

1 looks like it was out of "Railway Magazine" around 1964
2 OK but something doesn't quite work - I think the proximity of the 10 to the signal pole doesn't help
3 Again something not quite there - perhaps the chap on the platform should be in focus rather than the almost featureless side of the loco?. I took a load of similar pics on the Romney Hythe & Dymchurch the other weekend and none of them quite worked either!
4. Cracking shot. Love it. The complete emptiness and calm is fantastic.
5. This doesn't say anything to me - I am wondering what the story is.

Cheers for your comments on these guys - Nice to get a bit of feedback as it seems like im only taking motocross shots these days so was nice to give something else a bash and even nicer that 3 out of the 5 have sold for 30x20 prints which was unexpected!
 
Number 1 for me, I can almost see people in flat caps, and hear a commentary by the late Fred Dibnah!

Very nice, gave me the feeling of actually being back in the days of steam......although I'm too young however :D
