Hi Andy
Golden rule of cricket photpgraphy (and most sports photography) is that you've got to see the faces. In cricket, too, you really need to get on the line of the ball's flight so you need to get much more stirhgt on to the wickets and shoot the bowler as he comes towards you. You'll probably need a longer lens but the pictures will have much more impact.
