Yes - like this. The tall and slim framing, for me, is a good choice you have made. And although on my screen the right hand side looks blocked out I don't think that matters in this case.

One minor point - is it level? The step looks as if it is sloping upwards from left to right.
 
Those hairs bug me. Can't stop noticing them.
 
Your reaction leads me to believe they are not hairs on the neg then.

On the wall, right hand side.

Whatever they are... they look like hairs.
 
Ahh - now seen something 'S' shaped which looks like a hair.

Thanks for seeing it - convinces me even more that I need to get my eyes tested;)
 
Oh.. so they were hairs? They are really obvious here.
